Epiphone SG G400 PRO

The Alnicos  are excellent and crunch really well, and the access you have to the fretboard is ridiculous. Takes a little getting used to, because the neck pocket isn’t very big like a bolt-on or regular set neck so you could pull it out of tune fairly easy. The neck is comfortable, bigger than a strat neck but thinner than a LP.

The coil split kinda sounds like a mix between P90/tele in the bridge and a P90/strat in the neck, although it depens who you ask, not every ear will hear the same. The fact that there are 2 splitting pots is key, You can even get a pseudo out of phase strat sound by mixing a split coil and humbucker and adjusting the volume levels. Its a pretty bright sounding guitar. Huge versatility tonally, extremely comfortable to play (great neck, light body), sustains well.
