Fender American Standard Stratocaster HSS Shawbucker
With a Fender Custom Shop Fat 50s single coil pickup in the neck and middle position, and a Shawbucker Humbucker in the bridge, designed by the expert in humbuckers Tim Shaw, the Fender American Standard Stratocaster HSS Shawbucker offers versatility when talking about the different tones this guitar can produce. Is the classic Strat but on steroids.
The Fender American Standard Stratocaster HSS Shawbucker has an alder solid body, a gloss polyurethane body finish, a maple neck with a modern “C” shape and a satin urethane finish on the back and a gloss urethane finish on the front. The fingerboard can be maple or rosewood, with a 25.5″ scale length, 9.5″ radious, 22 medium jumbo frets, a synthetic bone nut, a bolt on neck joint and black dot inlays.
The Fender American Standard Stratocaster HSS Shawbucker comes with a master volume and two tone knobs, one for the neck pickup and the other for the bridge/middle pickup. Also has a 5 position pickup selector (Position 1. Bridge Pickup, Position 2. Bridge and Middle Pickup, Position 3. Middle Pickup, Position 4. Middle and Neck Pickup, Position 5. Neck Pickup) and a dual 250K/500K volume potentiometer.
The bridge is a 2-point synchronized tremolo with bent steel saddles, tunning machines are the deluxe Staggered cast/sealed.
It comes in 5 different colors:
- 3-Color Sunburst
- Sienna Sunburst
- Ocean Blue Metallic
- Bordeaux Metallic
Each color option is available with a maple or a rosewood fingerboard.
