The Gibson 2016 SG Special T comes with a mahogany body and maple neck. It weights 3 lbs, the neck has a SG70 profile, the Gibson 2016 SG Special T also comes with a TekToid nut, 22 frets and a rosewood 12″ radius fingerboard.

The Gibson 2016 SG Special T has small block made of acrylic inlays, comes with a 495R pickup in the neck and a 495T pickup in the bridge, it also has a a volume and tone control for each pickup and a toggle switch pickup selector, mini Grover Green Key tunning machines, a stop bar tailpiece and a Tune-o-matic bridge. Finally, the Gibson 2016 SG Special T comes with a SG70 pickguard (white pickguard in the ebony and vintage sunburst finishes, and black in the cherry finish) and a black gig bag.
